High Holidays

High Holidays

Original book (April 2020) · p. 17

A few days in September or early October when it’s a little quieter at the offices of New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles ad agencies.

These days include the Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah) and Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur).

Note that the term High Holidays refers to their prominence in the Jewish faith. Do not assume your Jewish colleagues are partaking in the consumption of cannabis on those days. While more doctrinally observant Jews will tell you that it is forbidden to light a fire on such holidays, this author will not pass judgment. That is between the Partaker and his or her Maker.
